This policy explains what personal data Alisenta LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company (“CLOSER.”, “we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, buy access, or play the game at app.closerdecks.com, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we never see what you and your partner say to each other.
1. What we collect
When you buy
Payments are handled by Stripe. They collect your name, email address, billing address and payment details to process the order. We receive your name, email address, country, and order details. We never receive or store your full card number.
When you play
The game runs in your browser. Your progress (for example, which cards you have seen and which decks are unlocked) is stored only on your device, using your browser's local storage. Your spoken answers are never recorded, typed in, or sent anywhere.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
Technical data
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
2. Why we use it
- To process your purchase and give you access to the game and PDF (performance of a contract).
- To answer support requests and process refunds (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure and working (our legitimate interests).
- To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations (legal obligation).
We send marketing emails only if you opted in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with providers that help us run CLOSER., and only as much as they need:
- Stripe: payments, invoices, taxes and refunds.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
- Our email provider: sending receipts, access links and replies to support requests.
We may also disclose data if required by law. We never sell or rent your personal data.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 7 years).
- Support emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Game progress on your device: until you clear your browser data.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email support@closerdecks.com. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Age
CLOSER. is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and we rely on established providers for payments and hosting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll also tell customers by email.
